Traumatic accident,
following recovery and integration

Amidst the backdrop of a severe traumatic brain injury, which resulted in a 2½-month coma, I began a tough journey of recovery that lasted for 6½ years. During this time, I had to learn basic skills again, like walking and talking. I went to many therapy sessions—like those for the brain, for movement, and for speech — to help me get stronger physically and think better. Even though it was really hard, my strong determination and never-give-up attitude helped me get back to my normal life.

On top of that, this experience turned out to be like the best life school for me. It helped me become a better person in many ways. I became more understanding and kinder, especially after meeting others who had lost so much but kept on fighting. Seeing their bravery in starting over inspired me to be a better teammate, too. Overall, this journey didn't just make me physically stronger; it also made me a better person.

Matura School

My scholastic journey at a Gymnasium was marked by a commitment to academic excellence and personal growth. However, due to unforeseen circumstances resulting from an accident, I regrettably had to conclude my studies shortly before completing the Matura examination.
Despite this unexpected turn of events, my time at Gymnasium instilled in me a strong foundation of knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a dedication to continuous learning. While my path diverged from the traditional route, I am grateful for the valuable lessons and experiences gained during the course of my studies at the Gymnasium, which have undoubtedly contributed to my ongoing journey of personal and professional development.

Exchange Year

During my exchange year in Thailand, Bangkok, I had the invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in a culturally rich and diverse educational environment at the DSSB, a Swiss school. Situated in Bangkok due to my father's business commitments, I attended a bilingual (German/English) gymnasium, where I experienced a dynamic blend of international perspectives and rigorous academic curriculum. This transformative experience not only broadened my cultural horizons but also enhanced my language proficiency and global awareness. Throughout my time at the DSSB, I engaged in meaningful cross-cultural exchanges, forged lasting friendships, and developed a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of our world.

Secondary School

During my secondary school years, I found myself at a crossroads. Unsure about which apprenticeship would suit me best, and with good grades under my belt, I decided to switch to Gymnasium. This change allowed me to explore different subjects more deeply and get better at thinking critically. While I enjoyed my time in secondary school, I felt like I needed more of a challenge. Moving to a Gymnasium gave me the mental stimulation and harder work I was looking for, setting me up for future success.
